Web Design and Development

Short Version:
I have been building and maintaining web sites since 1996. My focus has been on accessibility, SEO and CSS. A web site should be informational no matter what medium you choose to access it's content. Period. While eye candy is pleasant, functionality is more important than glitz. If you visit this site with a text or speech-enabled browser, you will be able to access all of the content.

I do not use any WYSIWYG editor in the creation of markup for the web. All development is done using a plain old text editor (EditPad Pro) and Mozilla Firefox with it's suite of extensions for developers. I find it to be much faster than using a WYSIWYG editor and then cleaning up the markup it puts out. I have yet to see a WYSIWYG editor that 'gets it right'.

I do have screen shots and brief descriptions of some of the sites that I've worked on here (link opens a new browser window). If you're interested in seeing more of my work, a please contact me. I'm more than happy to showcase my work. :-)
